Value education October 20, 2024 Value education refers to the process of teaching essential moral, ethical and cultural values that guide individuals towards becoming responsible citizens. As a part of school internship activities,a value education class was conducted on 15.10.24 on the topic Gratitude The class started with a discussion on what patience means and why is it important. The class was divided into three sessions, the first was storytelling session. I told the story about a king who was hiding in a cave, feeling defeated, after watching a spider webbing web patiently even after many failures he became inspired and regained his strength. The second session was a game session, the whisper challenge, which needed patience of the students.

Week 9 School Internship phase 1 9/14/24 to 18/10/24 As my teaching practice journey comes to an end, this final week was filled with meaningful experiences and unforgettable moments. I focused on teaching magnetism using interactive aids, which made the learning process more engaging and enjoyable for students. Additionally, I had the opportunity to take a special session for NCC students on World Food Day, where we explored food security, healthy eating habits, and strategies to reduce food waste. The week was made even more exciting with a food fest, bringing a lively and festive spirit to the school. To assess students’ progress, I conducted an achievement test for Class 8D, evaluating their understanding of previous lessons. It was rewarding to see how much they had learned and improved. As I wrap up this chapter, I feel grateful for the experiences that have shaped my growth as a teacher. This journey has strengthened my passion for teaching, refined my classroom manag...

WEEK-8 School internship Phase 1 7/10/24 to 11/10/24 This week was all about deepening scientific understanding and celebrating student achievements. My teaching focused on key concepts in Physics and Chemistry, ensuring that students grasped not just theoretical knowledge but also practical applications. I began the week by teaching Thermal Conductivity and Electrical Conductivity of Metals, incorporating innovative strategies to make learning more engaging and interactive. Moving forward, I introduced Reactions of Metals, helping students analyze the behavior of different metals in various conditions. One of the most engaging sessions was on Corrosion of Metals, where I applied the Inquiry Training Model. This approach sparked curiosity among students, making them highly interested in exploring the real-world implications of corrosion. The week concluded with lessons on Components and Types of Solutions, where I discussed the Concentration of Solutions in depth. Beyo...

YOGA CLASS 8/10/2024 Bringing Balance and Strength: A Yoga Session with My Students Today, I had the wonderful opportunity to introduce my students to the art of yoga, guiding them through two fundamental asanas—Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) and Trikonasana (Triangle Pose). Yoga is more than just a physical exercise; it is a practice that enhances focus, stability, and inner peace, making it an invaluable addition to student life. We began with Vrikshasana, where students stood tall like trees, balancing on one leg while keeping their minds calm and steady. This pose symbolizes strength, patience, and concentration—qualities essential for both academics and personal growth. Next, we moved on to Trikonasana, an asana that stretches and strengthens the body while promoting flexibility. As they extended their arms and legs into a perfect triangle, students could feel their energy flow freely, relieving tension and improving posture. Watching my students engage with enthusiasm and curiosity...

MY INNOVATIVE WORK Teaching science in an engaging way has always been my goal. To make the concept of metallic conductivity more interactive, I designed an activity-based teaching plan that turned learning into a fun and collaborative experience. I created a chart featuring a bunny as the main character, and students had to help the bunny find its way home through a tricky yet exciting game. The path was filled with different materials, and students needed to identify which were conductors and which were non-conductors to choose the correct route. This helped them naturally classify metals and non-metals based on their conductivity. Once students successfully identified the conducting materials, they moved on to the next challenge—arranging metals in order of conductivity. This step helped them understand that even among conductors, some metals conduct electricity better than others. The activity was a great success, making learning interactive, collaborative, and engaging....

SEVENTH WEEK -SCHOOL INTERNSHIP PHASE 1 Week - 7 30/9/2024-5/10/2024 This week was an exciting mix of interactive learning and hands-on exploration in the classroom. My lessons focused on key scientific concepts, including different types of cells, magnetism, electromagnets, and the properties of metals like malleability and ductility. To enhance students’ understanding, I incorporated practical activities that allowed them to engage with these topics beyond textbooks, making learning more meaningful and enjoyable. Beyond academics, the school was filled with energy and creativity, as the much-anticipated Youth Festival—Bamsuri 2024 took place on 3rd and 4th October. It was an incredible experience watching students showcase their talents in various artistic and cultural competitions, creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm and celebration. The event highlighted the students' diverse skills and team spirit, making it a truly memorable part of the internship journey. As the week wrappe...
