Micro Teaching lessons
During my microteaching session, I focused on improving my explanation skill and blackboard skill to ensure effective knowledge delivery. I began by introducing the topic with a relatable example, helping students connect with the concept before diving into the details. I structured my explanation logically, using a step-by-step approach to maintain clarity and engagement. While explaining, I made sure to modulate my voice and use appropriate pauses to emphasize key points. I actively incorporated the blackboard as a teaching aid, writing neatly and systematically, ensuring proper spacing, alignment, and visibility for all students. I used headings, bullet points, and diagrams to break down complex ideas, making the content more digestible. To enhance student interaction, I asked thought-provoking questions, reinforced learning with real-life applications, and adapted my pace based on student responses. At the end of the session, I summarized the key points on the blackboard, providing a structured and visually clear reference for students. The feedback from my peers and mentor helped me refine my approach, making my teaching more engaging and effective.
