School i nternship Phase 2 : Report of last week This week marked the conclusion of my Phase 2 teaching practice, a valuable learning experience. I wrapped up the remaining topics and conducted an achievement test to gauge how well the students understood the material. One of the key lessons I taught was on lightning and lightning conductors, which I made more engaging through the use of innovative teaching aids. Additionally, the school began the SSLC pre-model exams, creating a focused academic atmosphere. On the last day, as a gesture of appreciation, we presented the school with a shuttle racket to thank them for their support and guidance. Reflecting on this phase, I realized how much I have grown as a teacher, and this journey has truly been an unforgettable experience.

INNOVATIVE LESSON PLAN  15/1/2025  On January 15, 2025, I used an innovative teaching approach to explain the topic of Carbon to Standard 9 students. Instead of traditional methods, I incorporated literature-based techniques such as role play, poetry, and storytelling to make the lesson more engaging. Students explored the allotropes of carbon through role play, understood carbon dioxide through a self-written poem, and learned about the dangers of carbon monoxide via a storybook-style narrative. This creative combination not only made abstract concepts more relatable but also allowed students to connect science with everyday life in a fun and memorable way. The lesson was a resounding success, with students actively participating and showing heightened interest in the subject. By blending artistic expression with scientific principles, students were able to experience carbon in a way that deepened their understanding. This approach reinforced my belief that integrating differ...

KINATHURU DAY - 5 A Creative Farewell to KINATHURUTH 4/1/2025 As the sun set on our unforgettable journey at KINATHURUTH, the final day was dedicated to transforming our experiences into tangible memories. This was not just a conclusion but a celebration of everything we had learned, shared, and lived during this community living camp. Unlike other days filled with structured activities, this day was about self-expression—each of us capturing our journey in a way that resonated with our creativity. Some chose to paint vibrant landscapes, reflecting the serene beauty of Peringalam Marthoma Dhyana Theeram, while others used words to weave the emotions and lessons gathered throughout the camp. Sketches, poems, reflections, and even collaborative murals became testaments to the bonds we had built. Every creation was unique, yet all carried the same essence—harmony, optimism, perseverance, and envisioning a better self, the very themes that had guided us over these days. As we stepped ...

After breakfast, we had the privilege of attending an interactive session with the renowned Bhramanayakam Mahadevan, who encouraged us to step beyond our comfort zones and explore the treasures within ourselves. His insights resonated deeply, inspiring self-reflection and motivation to embrace challenges with an optimistic mindset. Following this session, we moved on to engaging group activities, including the Balloon Train, where participants had to move together without dropping the balloon, emphasizing patience, balance, and teamwork.
